Platinum Investment Management Limited (ASX: L1G) reported total assets under management (AUM) of AU$7.561 billion as of 30 September 2025, down from AU$7.597 billion at the end of August 2025. The decrease reflects net outflows of approximately AU$353 million during September, including AU$281 million from the Platinum Trust Funds. These figures exclude assets managed by L1 Capital and related entities, as the merger between Platinum Asset Management Limited and First Maven Pty Ltd (L1 Capital) completed on 1 October 2025, after the quarter’s end.
Including L1 Capital, which reported AUM of AU$9.390 billion as of 30 September 2025, the combined total AUM rises to AU$16.951 billion, up from AU$16.498 billion at the previous quarter-end. The merger significantly enhances Platinum’s scale and market presence, combining complementary investment platforms and strengthening its position in the global asset management sector.
