Racura Oncology Limited Advances HARNESS-1 Study Through Expanded Australian Clinical Network
Racura Oncology Limited (ASX: RAC) has advanced its HARNESS-1 clinical development program after securing ethics approval from the Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee, paving the way for additional Australian hospitals to participate in the study. The approval allows Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Austin Health to move into governance and site activation, with further centres expected to be added as local approvals are completed. HARNESS-1 is a multi-centre Phase 1a/b trial investigating RC220 alongside osimertinib in patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer. The study will evaluate the treatment's safety profile, pharmacokinetics and appropriate dosing before progressing to a blinded expansion phase assessing preliminary clinical outcomes. Blood-based circulating tumour DNA testing will be used to identify eligible participants and streamline recruitment. The expansion of the trial network is expected to improve patient access, support enrolment momentum and strengthen the clinical assessment of RC220 as Racura continues to progress its oncology development strategy.
