Regis Healthcare Announces Leadership Transition Amid Operational Strength
Regis Healthcare Limited (ASX: REG), one of Australia’s largest aged care providers, has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Dr Linda Mellors, after more than six years in the role. Dr Mellors will remain in her position during a six-month notice period while the Board undertakes a structured transition and executive search process. Since joining Regis in late 2019, she has overseen a period of significant transformation, guiding the business through the Royal Commission into Aged Care, the COVID-19 pandemic, and major regulatory reforms under the new Aged Care Act. Under her leadership, Regis strengthened its financial and operating position and invested meaningfully in workforce capability, systems, and care quality. The Board recognised her role in strengthening the organisation and preparing it for long-term, sustainable growth. Regis continues to deliver aged care services to more than 10,000 older Australians through a broad national network, supported by a large and experienced workforce
