RocketDNA Secures 3-Year Drone Contract at Gruyere Gold Mine.

RocketDNA Ltd (ASX: RKT) has signed a three-year contract valued at approximately AU$490,000 with Gold Fields for the deployment of its autonomous drone-in-a-box solution at the Gruyere Gold Mine in Western Australia. The agreement covers RocketDNA’s xBot SurveyBot system, remote operations managed from its Perth and Adelaide centres, and access to its SiteTube data visualisation platform. Additional usage-based revenue is anticipated over the contract term.

The xBot system will deliver daily open-pit and stockpile surveys, blast planning support, and live high-resolution imagery, improving operational efficiency and remote site visibility. This long-term partnership underscores the growing demand for autonomous drone services in mining and highlights RocketDNA’s capacity to integrate AI, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions to support Tier 1 customers. With the backing of CASA-certified pilots and advanced communications infrastructure, the solution is set to enhance productivity and safety at Gruyere while creating a scalable model for future mining contracts.
