Rokeby Resources Revamps Leadership Team to Support Gold Project Expansion
Rokeby Resources Limited (ASX: RKB) has unveiled a refreshed leadership structure as it prepares to advance the proposed acquisition and development of the Omeo Gold Project in Victoria. The company has appointed experienced mining executive Richard Beazley as Managing Director and former Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas as Independent Non-Executive Chairman. Their combined expertise in mining operations, corporate strategy, governance, and public leadership is expected to strengthen Rokeby’s ability to execute its growth plans. The leadership changes follow the company’s agreement to acquire the high-grade Omeo Gold Project, which contains a historical resource estimate of 320,000 ounces of gold. To maintain continuity during this transition, current Chief Executive Officer Trevor Benson will move into a Non-Executive Director role, while long-serving Chairman Adam Taylor has retired from the board. Rokeby believes the strengthened management and governance team will enhance its capacity to progress exploration activities, evaluate development opportunities, and maximise the value of its gold assets as the company enters a new stage of growth.
