Savannah Goldfields Reports Strong New Gold Intercepts at Georgetown Project
Savannah Goldfields Limited (ASX: SVG) has delivered strong results from ongoing drilling at the Georgetown Gold Project, highlighted by a 21m intercept at 2.35 g/t gold, including 10m at 3.80 g/t, from the Electric Light Prospect. All four PQ diamond holes drilled across Electric Light and Red Dam intersected sulphide mineralisation, providing valuable geological and metallurgical data.
The Company also completed 842m of RC drilling across eight holes at Electric Light and an additional 648m across five RC holes at Red Dam, aimed at validating historical mineralisation and testing extensions. Assays from the Red Dam diamond and RC program are expected shortly. Data from these programs will feed into metallurgical testwork and an updated Mineral Resource for Electric Light once all results are received. The work strengthens Savannah’s understanding of both prospects as exploration continues.
