Sparc Technologies and Dulux Partner on Graphene Enhanced Protective Coatings

Sparc Technologies Limited (ASX: SPN) has announced a collaboration with Dulux Australia to apply its ecosparc® graphene-enhanced additive within Dulux’s Durebild® STE epoxy coating system on the Cape Jaffa Lighthouse in South Australia. The project marks Sparc’s first partnership with Dulux and its fifth real-world field application, showcasing ecosparc®’s durability in coastal environments.

The initiative supports Sparc’s strategy to commercialise ecosparc® by partnering with major coatings manufacturers and asset owners. With ongoing trials involving BHP, Santos, and the South Australian Government, the company anticipates commercial adoption by FY26.

Managing Director Nick O’Loughlin said the collaboration highlights Sparc’s growing commercial momentum, positioning ecosparc® as a key innovation within the US$33 billion global protective coatings market. This project also underscores Sparc’s role in developing sustainable graphene-based solutions for infrastructure protection and industrial coatings.
