Terra Metals Confirms New Platinum Group Metal Discovery at SW5, Dante Project
Terra Metals Limited (ASX: TM1) has confirmed a significant new platinum group metal (PGM) discovery at the SW5 target, part of the Southwest Prospect within the Dante Project. Initial assay results from the first drillhole, SWT011, revealed 69 metres of continuous PGM mineralisation, including high-grade zones with up to 2.00 g/t PGE3 (platinum, palladium, and gold). Notable intercepts from SWT011 include 32m at 1.19g/t PGE3, with copper and nickel credits. The discovery is located approximately 800 metres south of the SW6 PGM discovery, reinforcing the potential for a large, multi-phase magmatic sulfide system across the Southwest area. Initial interpretation suggests that mineralisation at SW5 is stratigraphically controlled, likely forming a reef-style sulfide horizon. Terra is progressing follow-up drilling to define the geometry and continuity of the system and will refine the geological model in early 2026.
