Vection Technologies Expands AI Capabilities with AU$2.6 million SAFE-XR Agreement

Vection Technologies Ltd (ASX: VR1) has signed an AU$2.6 million deal with Area12 Consulting to co-develop and implement SAFE-XR, an AI-driven industrial safety compliance platform for a major client in Italy. This partnership marks their second collaboration, expanding on a prior AU$0.5 million annual Algho license agreement. SAFE-XR leverages smart glasses integrated with Vection’s Algho AI to enable hands-free safety inspections through real-time voice commands and augmented reality overlays. The system enhances compliance accuracy with contextual prompts, remote collaboration, and interactive checklists. The deal includes a perpetual Algho license, custom hardware/software, and three years of support. Revenue will be recognized in phases over FY26, with potential annual renewals after the initial term. This move strengthens Vection’s standing in AI-powered automation and regulatory compliance, aligning with its broader B2B2C strategy.
