Volt Resources Limited (ASX: VRC) has announced key leadership changes to support its downstream strategy in high-purity graphite and advanced materials. CEO Prashant Chintawar has stepped down from the board but will continue leading Volt Resources Ltd and its U.S. subsidiary, focusing on graphite refining, advanced materials, and the Bunyu project. Trevor Matthews rejoins as Non-Executive Director, bringing extensive ASX mining experience and knowledge of Volt’s assets across Tanzania, Ukraine, and Guinea. Dominic Virgara remains in his role, contributing to stakeholder relations and funding efforts.
Volt is advancing its flagship Bunyu Graphite Project in Tanzania and exploring gold in Guinea. It also holds a 70% stake in Ukraine’s Zavalievsky Graphite operations and is pursuing lithium-borate prospects in Serbia. The company’s U.S. subsidiary, Volt Energy Materials LLC, is developing purification technologies from its New Jersey-based clean energy facility
