Wide Open Agriculture Ltd (ASX: WOA), a leader in plant-based food innovation, has secured AU$2.6 million through a strategic placement and will raise an additional AU$500,000 via a Share Purchase Plan (SPP). This funding initiative is aimed at propelling the company's entry into the Chinese market and advancing global sales of its flagship product, Buntine Protein®—a lupin-based, clean-tasting, high-performance plant protein. The placement was supported by institutional investors, existing shareholders, and company directors, reflecting strong investor confidence. Funds will be directed towards scaling production, enhancing marketing efforts, developing by-products like lupin fiber and oil, and general operations. Shareholders who are eligible in Australia and New Zealand have the opportunity to take part in the Share Purchase Plan (SPP), acquiring shares at a price of AU$0.023 each. Additionally, they will receive one complimentary option for every two shares purchased.
