Highlights

  • FY26 earnings expanded sharply as SKS benefited from a larger operating base.
  • Work on hand climbed to AU$312 million, supporting stronger forward revenue visibility.
  • Data centres remained the central growth driver entering FY27.

Annual Report Shows Another Strong Year

SKS Technologies Group Limited (ASX: SKS) released its FY26 Annual Shareholder Report on 24 September 2026, outlining another period of substantial business expansion. Sales revenue reached AU$347.93 million, representing 33.0% growth from FY25. EBITDA increased 80.8% to AU$42.43 million, while profit before tax rose 89.3% to AU$39.35 million. After-tax profit almost doubled to AU$27.11 million.

The company also finished the year with a stronger liquidity position, with cash rising to about AU$49.60 million. Shareholders were rewarded with a fully franked 6.5-cent final dividend, lifting total FY26 distributions to 10 cents per share.

Data Centres Remain the Main Growth Engine

The data-centre segment continued to reshape SKS Technologies’ revenue mix during FY26. Revenue from this area increased to AU$207.7 million, up 47.6% from FY25. Traditional operations contributed a further AU$140.3 million, helping the company retain exposure across a broader range of electrical and communications projects.

A major milestone during the year was the award of a AU$210 million Melbourne data-centre contract, the largest project secured by SKS to date. The completed integration of Delta Elcom also expanded its capabilities in New South Wales and strengthened its position in one of Australia’s largest data-centre markets.

Preliminary Final Report Set the Financial Direction

Ahead of the Annual Report, SKS released its Preliminary Final Report on 18 August 2026. That update showed operating cash flow of AU$45.66 million and confirmed that the business continued to support much of its expansion through internally generated funds.

Order Book Strengthens Revenue Visibility

SKS ended FY26 with AU$312 million of work on hand, up 56% from AU$200 million a year earlier. Its wider tender pipeline expanded to approximately AU$1.69 billion, with data-centre opportunities making up the largest share.

Outlook and Future Prospects

SKS entered FY27 with a larger contracted workload, stronger cash resources and increased exposure to digital infrastructure spending. Management’s priorities include expanding further in New South Wales, strengthening internal capacity and improving its operating platform.

The company is targeting approximately AU$500 million in revenue and AU$60 million in profit before tax in FY27. Continued data-centre investment, electrification activity and infrastructure demand could support further growth, although project execution and workforce availability will remain important factors.
