Record Revenue and Strong Growth Across Divisions

Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX: MND) recently reported an impressive half-year performance for the period ending December 31, 2025, with a surge in revenue and earnings. At the time of writing, Monadelphous shares surged nearly 15.50% to AU$35.410, following a record half-year revenue of AU$1.53 billion, marking a significant 45.6% increase from the previous year. The growth was driven by sustained robust demand in its primary sectors, especially energy and resources.

Strategic Expansion and Market Demand

The company’s engineering and construction services saw substantial growth, with revenues increasing by 67%, reflecting Monadelphous’ expanding capabilities in end-to-end service delivery. The Maintenance and Industrial Services division also reported a solid 32% growth, driven by increased energy sector activity and robust demand from iron ore operations. Moreover, Monadelphous’ renewable energy business, Zenviron, benefitted from larger wind and battery storage projects.

Financial Performance and Future Outlook

Monadelphous’ Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) also set a new record at AU$116.2 million, up 45.6%. Net profit after tax soared by 52.6%, reaching AU$64.9 million. The company’s strong balance sheet, with AU$322 million in cash, positions it well for further investments and strategic growth. Looking ahead, Monadelphous forecasts full-year FY26 revenue to be approximately 30% higher than FY25, supported by a substantial $1.4 billion in new contracts secured since July 2025.

Strategic Acquisitions and Market Leadership

As part of its expansion strategy, Monadelphous has enhanced its service portfolio by acquiring Kerman Contracting, Australian Power Industry Partners, and High Energy Service. These acquisitions expand the company’s capabilities in infrastructure and high-voltage services, providing a solid foundation for capturing opportunities in the growing energy transition sector.

With strong market demand in both the resources and energy sectors, Monadelphous remains well-positioned to capitalize on long-term industry trends, particularly in energy generation, storage, and transmission.
