Aguia Resources Advances Gold Exploration with Promising High-Grade Results

Aguia Resources Limited (ASX: AGR) has made significant strides at its 100%-owned Santa Barbara gold project in Colombia. The company successfully drilled seven diamond holes, receiving assay results for five. Drilling confirmed robust mineralised structures about 50 metres beneath existing workings, aligning with the targeted vein system. One standout drill hole (SB-25-03) yielded 25.43 g/t gold and 78.3 g/t silver over 0.6 metres, also revealing visible gold. Additionally, channel sampling across underground veins returned multiple high-grade results, some exceeding 85 g/t gold. The mineralisation appears structurally controlled and extensive, with veins traced over 500 metres down-dip and open along strike. With 18 more holes planned, drilling will now focus on an 800-metre strike zone at the Mariana vein. These findings strengthen Aguia’s belief in the project’s scalability and resource potential, positioning the company well for future development.
