BOA Resources Secures Major Foothold in Murchison Copper Belt With Strategic Tenement Acquisition
BOA Resources Limited (ASX: BOA) has executed a transformational expansion into Western Australia’s Murchison Copper Belt through the acquisition of a 49% interest in 13 exploration licences across the highly prospective Neds Creek Project. The tenement package covers 1,140 km² and lies close to major copper hubs, including the DeGrussa and Monty mines. High-priority prospects such as Ricci Lee, Enigma, Rooneys, and Green Dragon already demonstrate ore-grade copper intercepts, with a pipeline of nine targets advancing toward drilling.
To fund exploration, BOA completed a AU$3.75 million placement, lifting available cash to approximately AU$4.3 million. Drilling is scheduled for H1 2026, beginning with resource-definition drilling at Ricci Lee, which hosts a 500-metre strike of copper mineralisation remaining open at depth and along strike. BOA also holds an exclusive option to acquire the remaining 51% of the project.
