EMC Gold Corporation (ASX: EM3) has reported a court ruling from the High Court of Asturias relating to its Salave Gold Project in Spain, providing procedural clarity on the project’s planning framework. The Court upheld a municipal decision not to consider a proposed amendment to the local urban plan submitted by the Company. Importantly, the ruling is administrative in nature and does not assess the project’s technical, environmental or economic viability. Following the decision, EMC Gold is continuing its engagement with regional and local stakeholders while reviewing alternative pathways to progress the development of the Salave Project. The Company continues to prioritise progressing the project via relevant regulatory processes while ensuring adherence to established planning obligations.
