Lindian Resources Secures AU$100 Million Placement for Stage 2 Expansion.
Lindian Resources Ltd (ASX: LIN) has successfully raised AU$100 million through a placement to institutional investors and strategic critical minerals funds. This capital will support the development of its Kangankunde Rare Earths Project and the integration of the SARECO MREC facility. The placement, priced at AU$0.75 per share, provides Lindian with a debt-free path to advance Stage 2 expansion.
The raised funds will enable Lindian to complete Stage 1 construction, with first concentrate production expected by Q4 2026, and expedite the Stage 2 expansion, which aims to increase production capacity by 100,000 tonnes per annum. In addition, the capital will facilitate the progression of the SARECO MREC facility, ensuring that both operations are funded without any debt. This strategic move strengthens Lindian’s position as a leading player in the rare earths sector and supports its transition into the next phase of growth.
