BPH Global Records Strong Seaweed Trading Momentum
BPH Global Ltd (ASX: BP8) reported robust growth in its Indonesia-based seaweed trading operations, delivering gross sales of approximately AU$391,000 during the twelfth trading period from 15 April 2026 to 14 May 2026. The result marked the company’s second-highest monthly trading performance since operations commenced in May 2025. Over the first twelve months of trading activity, cumulative gross sales reached around AU$3.33 million, highlighting the continued scale-up of its seaweed trading platform.
The company attributed the stronger performance to improved operating conditions in Makassar following the monsoon season, which supported better harvesting activity, higher product quality, and increased seaweed availability. Consistent customer demand from both local and international markets further supported the rise in trading activity. Looking ahead, BPH Global expects favourable dry season conditions to support consistent trading activity and procurement levels. The company also plans to transition future trading updates to a calendar-month reporting basis aligned with its FY26 reporting period.
