Bridge SaaS Divests Non-Core Asset to Strengthen Growth Strategy
Bridge SaaS Limited (ASX: BGE) has completed the sale of its entire investment in Brightside Disability Support & Respite Pty Ltd for cash proceeds of AU$1.5 million, marking the exit from a non-core asset following a strategic portfolio review. The transaction was completed at a value broadly consistent with the company’s original investment, while dividends received during the holding period resulted in an overall positive return. The divestment is intended to reinforce Bridge’s financial position and sharpen its focus on areas with stronger long-term strategic potential.
The company plans to direct the additional capital toward expanding its wholly owned Bridge Disability Support business in New South Wales, while accelerating the development and commercialisation of its software platform and other innovation initiatives within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector. Bridge is also progressing research into artificial intelligence and humanoid robotics to improve service delivery, workforce productivity, participant outcomes, and operational efficiency. In parallel, it is pursuing strategic partnerships and joint ventures with United States-based robotics developers to support the testing and future deployment of advanced technologies across Australia's disability services industry.
