Delorean Corporation Secures Third ARENA Grant Milestone for SA1 Bioenergy Project
Delorean Corporation Ltd (ASX: DEL) has received a cash payment of AU$1.66 million (excluding GST) after achieving the third milestone under its AU$7.74 million funding agreement with the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). With this latest payment, the company has now secured a cumulative AU$5.46 million in grant funding to support the development of its SA1 Salisbury bioenergy facility in Edinburgh Parks, South Australia.
The funding is being used to procure, install and commission critical infrastructure that will enable the production of renewable biomethane and biogenic carbon dioxide, with renewable gas destined for supply into the Adelaide gas network under a long-term offtake agreement. The flagship project remains under construction and is progressing toward its first renewable gas production, reinforcing Delorean’s strategy of expanding sustainable energy infrastructure while creating multiple long-term revenue opportunities through renewable gas, carbon credits, liquid CO₂, fertilisers and waste processing solutions.
