Brightstar Resources Reports High-Grade Gold Intercepts at Sandstone Project, Strengthening Resource Growth Outlook
Brightstar Resources Limited (ASX: BTR) has announced strong drilling results from its Sandstone Gold Project, highlighting continued resource growth and development momentum. The Company reported multiple high-grade gold intercepts across key deposits including Bull Oak, Vanguard, Havilah, Achilles, and Indomitable, with standout results such as 0.3m @ 175.3g/t Au and 10.3m @ 6.80g/t Au.
The drilling program, comprising both reverse circulation and diamond drilling, is focused on infill and extension activities to support an upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate update and Pre-Feasibility Study. Management emphasised that the results are enhancing geological confidence while de-risking future mine development.
With four rigs currently active, Brightstar continues to advance its Sandstone Hub, which hosts a resource of ~2.4Moz at 1.5g/t Au. The ongoing program is expected to contribute to near-term resource upgrades and support long-term production planning, reinforcing the Company’s strategy to evolve into a mid-tier gold producer.
