Broken Hill Mines Limited (ASX: BHM), formerly known as Coolabah Metals Limited (ASX: CBH), has officially completed the acquisition of Broken Hill Mines Holdings Pty Ltd. The company has also registered its name change with ASIC to reflect its new identity. As part of this transition, new board appointments include Patrick Walta as Executive Chair, along with Brent Walsh, Mark Hine, and Ian Plimer as Non-Executive Directors. Stephen Woodham will continue serving on the board, while Cameron Provost and David Ward have retired, receiving thanks for their contributions.
The company is actively finalising the remaining compliance requirements under Chapters 1 and 2 of the ASX Listing Rules. Broken Hill Mines remains on track for reinstatement of trading on or before 22 July 2025. Upon reinstatement, it will trade under its new ticker symbol, ‘BHM’. This marks a strategic milestone as the company positions itself for future growth in the mining sector.
