Can Amara Minerals Accelerate Its Victorian Antimony Strategy Following Strong Investor Backing?
Amara Minerals Limited (ASX: AM3) has secured firm commitments to raise approximately AU$2.2 million through a strongly supported placement, providing additional funding to advance drilling activities across its Lauriston and Apollo Gold-Antimony projects in Victoria. The placement was completed at AU$0.005 per share, representing a 25% premium to the Company’s last traded price and highlighting robust investor confidence in its exploration strategy. Strategic shareholder Nova Minerals has increased its investment with a further AU$500,000 commitment, building on its earlier investment made in 2025, while Amara’s Chairman and Managing Director have also elected to participate in the raising. Proceeds will primarily fund ongoing diamond drilling at the Trojan, Comet and Apollo prospects following encouraging antimony intercepts reported from recent drilling campaigns. Management believes the funding places the Company in a strong position to expand exploration efforts as interest in Australian antimony projects continues to grow amid increasing focus on critical mineral supply chains and Victoria’s emerging role as a key antimony region.
