Eve Health Advances Libbo Development with Pilot Clinical Study Launch
EVE Health Group Limited (ASX: EVE) has commenced a pilot clinical study for Libbo, its vardenafil oral soluble film developed for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The study will compare the pharmacokinetic performance of Libbo’s 10mg dissolvable film with an approved vardenafil tablet in healthy male participants under fasting conditions. This marks the first clinical stage in the company’s bioequivalence development program and is expected to provide important data for designing a larger pivotal study.
The pilot trial will also assess user tolerability and experience with the oral film format, which has been developed as a discreet and convenient alternative to traditional tablets. Management believes the rapidly dissolving formulation could improve ease of use and patient acceptance. Recruitment and study activities are expected to progress over the coming weeks, with results anticipated during the third quarter of 2026. Positive outcomes could support future regulatory submissions and commercialisation plans for Libbo.
