Carnaby Resources Reports Strong Initial Drill Results at Trekelano Project

Carnaby Resources Limited (ASX: CNB) has announced promising first assay results from its Trekelano Project in Mt Isa, Queensland, confirming significant high-grade copper-gold mineralization beneath the historical Inheritance open pit. Notable drill intercepts include 41 meters at 2.3% copper and 0.5 g/t gold, and 29 meters at 1.2% copper and 0.5 g/t gold. These wide zones of mineralization confirm true widths up to 50 meters, indicating substantial potential for resource growth.

The Trekelano prospect is part of the broader Greater Duchess Copper Gold Project, which also includes discoveries at Mount Hope, Lady Fanny, and Nil Desperandum. Carnaby is progressing a maiden drilling program of approximately 3,400 meters, alongside a Pre-Feasibility Study expected in the second half of 2025. With a strong cash position and binding agreements with Glencore, Carnaby aims to develop a new mining operation in the Mt Isa region, targeting significant resource expansion and value creation.
