Cromwell Expands Industrial Footprint Through Strategic Acquisition

Cromwell Property Group (ASX: CMW) has announced a strategic move to strengthen its investment management platform by acquiring a 19.9% stake in Straits Real Estate’s Australian industrial portfolio, valued at AU$470 million. The transaction, worth approximately AU$47.6 million, also includes the acquisition of management firm Terre Property Partners (TPP) for an initial AU$2 million. This acquisition adds about AU$540 million to Cromwell’s assets under management and enhances its exposure to high-quality industrial properties across Victoria and South Australia. Tenants include Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Incitec Pivot, providing strong income security. The deal will unfold in two phases, concluding in FY2026, and aligns with Cromwell’s capital-light strategy and FY26 distribution guidance of 3.0 cents per security. With this partnership, Cromwell aims to expand its industrial footprint, deepen capital partnerships, and drive long-term growth in the Australian property sector
