CZR Resources Announces Leadership Transition and Board Appointments
CZR Resources Ltd (ASX: CZR) has announced significant management and board changes to support the company’s next phase of development. Managing Director Stefan Murphy resigned as a director effective 7 May 2026 but will continue assisting the company during the transition period. The Board recognised his contribution over the past four and a half years, particularly in progressing the Robe Mesa project, which was sold to Rio Tinto (ASX: RIO) for AU$75 million in 2025, strengthening the company’s financial position.
To lead the next stage of operations, CZR has appointed experienced mining executive Milan Jerkovic as Acting CEO. Mr Jerkovic has extensive experience in the mining and metals sector and has previously held senior leadership roles with companies including BHP, MetalsX, Wiluna Mining, and Cyprium Resources. In addition, Alex Neuling has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director, bringing more than 20 years of corporate, financial, and governance experience across ASX-listed companies.
