Delorean Corporation Receives AU$2.7 Million ARENA Grant for SA1 Salisbury Milestone.

Delorean Corporation Ltd (ASX: DEL) has received an AU$2.7 million cash payment (GST exclusive) from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) as part of its AU$6.08 million grant under the National Industrial Transformation Program. This milestone payment follows the successful completion of the first stage of Delorean’s SA1 Salisbury Bioenergy Facility in South Australia. The funding reimburses costs associated with installing and commissioning key infrastructure upgrades to enhance biogas production and upgrade it into mains-grade biomethane.

The renewable gas will be supplied to industrial users through a long-term offtake agreement with Origin Energy. Construction progress includes tank slab completion, bund wall works, and 95% stormwater scope finalisation. With digester tank construction set to begin soon, the project remains on schedule, marking a major step toward sustainable energy generation and industrial decarbonisation in Adelaide.
