Market Alert: Escalating Iran-Israel Tensions Heighten Global Market Volatility
Elsight Limited (ASX: ELS) has significantly expanded its strategic partnership with a European-based defense OEM, securing an additional US$5.35 million (~ AU$8.2 million) contract for delivery between August and December 2025. This new engagement follows the US$4.28 million (~ AU$ 6.8 million) order announced on 09 April 2025, bringing the total customer commitment to US$9.63 million (~ AU$ 15 million). Over US$1 million from the April contract has already been delivered and recognized as revenue. Under the new terms, Elsight will receive an upfront payment to cover working capital, with the balance due on delivery. These contracts are expected to drive profitability and cash flow to break even in 2025. CEO Yoav Amitai highlighted the agreements' transformational nature, affirming Elsight's shift from a niche technology to essential defense infrastructure and signaling broader market adoption in the unmanned systems sector.
