Godolphin Advances Proposed Rare Earths Spin-Out with MST Appointment for Matrix Critical Minerals IPO
Godolphin Resources Limited (ASX: GRL) has appointed MST Financial as Lead Manager and Financial Adviser to accelerate the proposed spin-out and ASX listing of its 100%-owned Narraburra Rare Earths Project through a new entity, Matrix Critical Minerals Limited. The proposed IPO is targeted for H2 CY2026 and is expected to include a priority offer and partial in-specie distribution of Matrix shares to existing GRL shareholders, subject to approvals and tax rulings.
Narraburra hosts a substantial JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate of 94.9 million tonnes, including a higher-grade core of 20 million tonnes at 1,079ppm TREO, across a 504km² tenure package in New South Wales. The project has demonstrated successful production of high-purity Mixed Rare Earth Carbonate (MREC), with strong concentrations of dysprosium, terbium and yttrium — critical minerals currently experiencing tightening global supply conditions following Chinese export restrictions.
Management highlighted that the proposed Matrix listing is strategically timed amid growing international demand for secure western rare earth supply chains. The newly established Matrix board includes experienced mining, technical and capital markets executives, positioning the business to advance Narraburra toward future development and pre-feasibility activities.
