GR Engineering Secures Major EPC Contracts in Western Australia
GR Engineering Services Limited (ASX: GNG) has strengthened its project pipeline after securing two major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts in Western Australia with a combined value of approximately AU$219 million. The company signed a AU$109 million EPC contract with Boab Metals for the Sorby Hills Silver-Lead Project near Kununurra, involving the relocation and refurbishment of the DeGrussa processing facility. Early engineering activities and procurement of long-lead items have already commenced, with commercial production targeted in H2 2027.
In a separate development, GR Engineering also secured a AU$110 million EPC contract from Brightstar Resources for the Laverton Processing Plant. The project forms part of Brightstar’s Goldfields expansion strategy and supports planned gold production of around 75,000 ounces annually over an initial six-year mine life. Construction activities are expected to accelerate immediately following the project’s final investment decision, reinforcing GR Engineering’s growing presence in Australia’s minerals processing sector.
