Greenwing Resources Ltd (ASX: GW1) has commenced a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for its 100%- owned Que River polymetallic project in Tasmania, marking a significant step toward potential project redevelopment. The study aims to refine the scale, economic viability, and development pathway following encouraging outcomes from prior scoping work and updated resource estimates. The company is advancing a two-stage strategy, beginning with the potential restart of open-pit mining through redevelopment of the PQ Pit and leveraging third-party processing infrastructure.
This phase targets the extraction of approximately 660 thousand tonnes of material containing gold, copper, silver, zinc, and lead. Additionally, improved metal price assumptions have strengthened the project’s economic outlook, supporting its development potential. The second stage focuses on evaluating data infrastructure opportunities, supported by strong site advantages such as proximity to power infrastructure, water availability, and strategic location, positioning the project for longterm value creation.
