MA Financial Group Advances Value Creation with Strategic Aged Care Exit
MA Financial Group Limited (ASX: MAF) is a global alternative asset manager focused on private credit, real estate, and hospitality investments. The company oversees approximately AU$15.3 billion in funds under management and administers around AU$175 billion in loans across its platforms. It has also played a key advisory role in transactions exceeding AU$135 billion within corporate advisory and equity capital markets.
Recently, MA Financial agreed to sell Infinite Care, the sole asset of the MA Aged Care Fund, delivering a strong outcome for investors. Fund investors are expected to receive more than 2.8 times their invested capital, net of fees. The Group anticipates recording an approximate AU$20 million gain on its co-investment, in addition to earning a performance fee linked to the Fund’s performance. Proceeds from the transaction are intended to be reinvested into future growth initiatives, reinforcing the company’s disciplined capital recycling strategy.
