Manuka Resources Taranaki VTM Project Clears Key Regulatory Hurdle

Manuka Resources Limited (ASX: MKR), through its wholly owned subsidiary Trans-Tasman Resources (TTR), has achieved a significant milestone in its Taranaki VTM Project in New Zealand. On 29 May 2025, the New Zealand Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) confirmed that TTR’s application faces no competing proposals and that all appeal rights have either lapsed or been resolved. As a result, the application has advanced to the next phase—evaluation by an expert panel under the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024. This progress underscores the project's robust preparation and compliance, as highlighted by MKR Director and TTR Executive Chairman Alan Eggers. He noted the absence of opposition as a testament to the project's quality and due diligence. The complete application can now be accessed via the Fast-track government portal. This regulatory development marks a crucial step toward unlocking the Taranaki project's potential for Manuka Resources.
