Moonlight Resources Reports Strong Gold Results at Leo Grande
Moonlight Resources Limited (ASX: ML8) announced encouraging Phase 2 drilling outcomes from the Leo Grande Prospect at its Clermont Gold Project in Queensland, further confirming the presence of a large near-surface gold system. The latest drilling campaign identified broad zones of mineralisation extending in multiple directions along the Leo Grande Shear Zone, supporting the company’s view that the project has significant growth potential.
Several drill holes delivered notable gold intersections, including wide mineralised intervals near surface and higher-grade sections at depth. Importantly, multiple holes concluded while still within mineralisation, indicating the possibility of additional resource expansion through future drilling activities. The company stated that these results strengthen confidence in the continuity and scale of the Leo Grande system and support ongoing efforts toward establishing a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. Around 4,500 metres of drilling have already been completed under the Phase 2 programme, while further assay results are expected as exploration work continues across the broader prospect area.
