Murray Cod Australia Appoints Steven Chaur as Managing Director and CEO
Murray Cod Australia Limited (ASX: MCA) has announced the appointment of Steven Chaur as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 20 April 2026. Mr Chaur, currently a Non-Executive Director of the Company, will transition into an Executive Director role upon commencement. Until that date, leadership continuity will be maintained through interim joint CEOs Mat Ryan and Roger Commins.
Mr Chaur brings close to 30 years of experience across branded consumer food, large-scale agricultural production and retail development, including 16 years at Managing Director and CEO level. His background spans domestic and international markets, with deep expertise across supermarkets, foodservice, quick service restaurants and export channels. The Board highlighted Mr Chaur’s strong commercial focus, with priorities including revenue growth, domestic channel development and operational efficiency. His appointment marks an important leadership step as Murray Cod Australia enters its next phase of growth as a vertically integrated aquaculture producer.
