Piche Resources Set to Launch Maiden Drill Program at Cerro Chacon Following EIA Approvals

Piche Resources Limited (ASX: PR2) is advancing preparations for its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Cerro Chacon gold-silver project in Argentina after receiving formal approval of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Reports for Chacon South and Chacon Middle. This regulatory milestone clears the path for ground-disturbing activities across the designated drill sites in 2025.

The company has completed 16km of new access tracks and drill pads to support the initial 20 drill holes, with a total of 57 RC holes planned. The campaign will test a 14km long, low-sulphidation epithermal vein system with widths up to 50 meters, targeting key geophysical and geochemical anomalies. Assays from surface sampling have returned up to 11.65 g/t gold and over 200 g/t silver, highlighting the project's high-grade potential. Drill contractor selection is in final negotiations, with operations expected to begin shortly.
