PLS Group Limited: Strong Quarter with Strategic Growth Momentum
PLS Group Limited (ASX: PLS) delivered a robust performance in the March quarter of FY26, supported by higher lithium prices and disciplined operations. Production reached a record 232.4 thousand tonnes, while realised prices surged 61% to US$1,867 per tonne, driving revenue growth of 52% to AU$567 million. Cost efficiencies were evident, with unit operating costs declining 11%, leading to a significant rise in operating cash margins. Consequently, the company’s cash balance strengthened to AU$1,455 million.
Operationally, the Pilgangoora asset continued to demonstrate reliability, supported by strong recovery rates and improved mining efficiency. Growth initiatives remain on track, including the Ngungaju plant restart and progress on the P2000 expansion and Colina project studies.
Strategically, PLS advanced its downstream integration through the Mid-Stream Demonstration Plant, securing government funding and an offtake agreement, while commencing commissioning.
Overall, the company remains well-positioned with strong financial flexibility and a clear pathway to capture value across the lithium supply chain.
