Prospect Resources Reports Strong Copper Intersections at Nyungu Central
Prospect Resources Limited (ASX: PSC) has announced encouraging drilling results from its Nyungu Central deposit within the Mumbezhi Copper Project in north-western Zambia. Recent step-out drilling identified substantial copper mineralisation beyond the current resource boundary, including a 44.0-metre intersection grading 0.60% copper and a 17.0-metre intersection grading 0.57% copper. The mineralised zone remains open towards the southeast, creating further potential to expand the deposit. Prospect has completed 13 Phase 3 diamond drill holes covering 4,043 metres, while assays from six additional holes containing visible copper sulphides are still pending. Exploration activity is also progressing at Nyungu West and other targets across the broader project area. With the Mumbezhi Copper Project holding a 208.1-million-tonne Mineral Resource grading 0.42% copper, the latest results further support the potential for continued resource growth and the development of a significant copper project.
