Sparc Technologies Reports 131% Increase in Loss for Half-Year Ended 31 December 2025
Sparc Technologies Limited (ASX: SPN) reported a net loss of AU$1.86 million for the half-year ended 31 December 2025, a 131% increase compared to the AU$802,190 loss in the same period of 2024. The loss includes non-cash expenses such as share-based payments to employees (AU$128,176), depreciation and amortisation (AU$105,536), and a non-cash loss of AU$46,422 from the Group’s share of the net profit of Sparc Hydrogen Pty Ltd.
Revenue for the half-year was AU$2,118, with other income of AU$205,213, including research and development tax refund contributions. Operating activities generated net cash outflows of AU$525,630. Despite this, the Group had positive working capital of AU$1.61 million as of 31 December 2025. There were no dividends declared during the period, and no significant changes in the state of affairs were noted.
