Turaco Gold Expands Resource Potential at Afema

Turaco Gold Limited (ASX: TCG) continues to strengthen its Afema Project in Côte d’Ivoire with promising drilling and metallurgical results. Recent reverse circulation and diamond drilling at the Begnopan prospect confirmed significant mineralisation, including high-grade intercepts such as 8m at 6.36g/t gold. Metallurgical test work achieved up to 89% gold recovery, clearing the path for a maiden JORC resource estimate at Begnopan. This deposit lies along strike between the Jonction and Anuiri deposits, reinforcing Afema’s growth potential.

At the Asupiri deposit, resource infill and strike extension drilling delivered encouraging results, including 7m at 6.65g/t gold, while historical heap leach pads revealed additional near-surface mineralisation that could enhance project economics. Turaco plans to update the current 3.55Moz Afema resource in Q4 2025, integrating Begnopan results into its ongoing pre-feasibility study. Supported by AU$80 million cash reserves and multiple rigs operating, Turaco is well positioned to advance exploration and resource expansion.
