Verity Resources Set to Commence Resource Upgrade Drilling at Monument Gold Project

Verity Resources Limited (ASX: VRL) is set to begin its highly anticipated resource upgrade and expansion drilling program at its 100%-owned Monument Gold Project, located in the Laverton Goldfields of Western Australia. The project currently holds a JORC (2012) Inferred resource of 3.3Mt @ 1.4g/t gold and sits adjacent to Genesis Minerals’ 3.3Moz Laverton Gold Project.

The first phase of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling will target the 139koz Korong deposit, comprising 54 holes over approximately 3,600 metres. The program aims to upgrade the Korong resource from Inferred to Indicated status, while step-out drilling may expand the mineralised footprint. This campaign supports future scoping studies, alongside the progression of a mining licence application. Monument also hosts 20km of largely untested banded iron formation (BIF), interpreted to be the same unit that hosts the 1.4Moz Westralia deposit. With over 60 additional BIF, basalt, and intrusion-hosted gold targets on site, Verity’s broader multi-stage campaign includes future diamond drilling, step-outs, and metallurgical testing, setting a strong growth outlook for shareholders.
