Vital Metals Strengthens Tardiff Growth Pipeline with High-Grade Drill Success
Vital Metals Limited (ASX: VML) advanced the development of its Nechalacho Rare Earths Project during the June 2026 quarter, with subsequent drilling results confirming the potential to expand and upgrade the Tardiff Mineral Resource. The 2026 diamond drilling program intersected high-grade rare earth and niobium mineralisation beyond the existing 192.7 million tonne resource envelope, highlighted by 6.0 metres at 3.86% TREO and 47.0 metres at 1.66% TREO, while mineralisation remains open in multiple directions. The program also identified anomalous gallium mineralisation, creating an additional critical minerals opportunity for the project. These results will support an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and the ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for completion in February 2027. Meanwhile, the Company continued assessing processing options for the 45,000-tonne North T stockpile to generate potential near-term cash flow, strengthened its balance sheet through the conversion of a AU$1.0 million convertible loan into equity, and ended the quarter with AU$3.8 million in cash.
