West Coast Silver Limited (ASX: WCE) has secured AU$6.125 million in funding through a heavily subscribed share placement involving institutional and sophisticated investors. The funds were raised at AU$0.11 per share—slightly above the 15-day VWAP—demonstrating strong market confidence. The funds will support ongoing exploration efforts at the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project, a site known for its exceptionally high silver grades, having previously yielded 1.2 million ounces from only 16,830 tonnes of processed ore. The project, located in Western Australia, is set for further drilling and resource definition targeting near-surface mineralisation and near-mine expansion. The land package now spans 180 km², encompassing prospective ground along the Munni Munni fault. With historical operations halted in 2000 due to low silver prices, the renewed campaign reflects improved market conditions and untapped geological potential. CPS Capital Group led the placement, enabling West Coast Silver to accelerate project development and unlock long-term value.
