West Wits Mining Strengthens Board as Qala Shallows Moves into Operational Phase

West Wits Mining (ASX: WWI) has appointed current CEO Rudi Deysel to the Board as Managing Director, recognising his pivotal role in advancing the Qala Shallows project from exploration to active gold production. His leadership will now guide the Company through its next phase of growth within the prolific Witwatersrand Basin. Additionally, Keith Middleton joins the Board as a non-executive director, bringing valuable ASX small-cap mining expertise, further reinforcing the Company’s strategic capabilities. Meanwhile, Hulme Scholes has stepped down after 14 years, having successfully steered the Company through its regulatory and permitting journey.

West Wits Mining is focused on precious and base metals development, primarily through its flagship 5.025Moz Witwatersrand Basin Project in South Africa and the Mt Cecilia gold-copper project in Western Australia.
