X2M Connect Limited (ASX: X2M) has entered into a strategic partnership with Mawson Business Advisory to develop an advanced smart community solution integrating AI-driven technology, private 5G networks, and estate management services. The collaboration is designed to support retirement villages, residential estates, and master-planned communities with a fully integrated digital infrastructure platform.
The proposed solution combines utility monitoring, billing systems, communications services, energy management, and operational support within a single long-term service arrangement. According to the company, the use of private 5G technology could improve connectivity performance while reducing reliance on traditional network infrastructure.
X2M stated that the initiative has the potential to strengthen its presence in Australia’s growing smart infrastructure market and expand recurring revenue opportunities.
