Highlights:
Strong Investor Backing for Capital Raise
West Coast Silver Limited (ASX: WCE) has successfully secured firm commitments to raise $6.125 million through a well-supported share placement. At the time of writing, the funds will be raised via the issue of up to 55.7 million new fully paid ordinary shares priced at $0.11 per share, representing a modest 0.04% premium to the company’s 15-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) as of July 21, 2025.
The capital raise attracted strong demand from both new institutional and existing sophisticated investors, with oversubscription resulting in scaled-back allocations. CPS Capital Group Pty Ltd acted as the Lead Manager to the placement and will be issued 10 million unlisted options, subject to shareholder approval.
Funds Target Elizabeth Hill Drilling Campaign
Proceeds from the raise will be directed toward expanding exploration activities at the company’s Elizabeth Hill Project, one of Australia’s historically high-grade silver assets. The funds will support further drilling, near-surface resource definition, and the initiation of near-mine and regional exploration efforts. A portion of the capital will also be used for working capital and preliminary internal restart studies. Following encouraging drilling results and the identification of shallow mineralisation, West Coast Silver is pushing ahead with a more aggressive exploration strategy to uncover the site’s full potential.
Board Confident in Project Potential
Executive Chairman Bruce Garlick said the capital injection would accelerate value creation for shareholders. “We have been generating outstanding results at Elizabeth Hill, and this placement allows us to move faster. The project holds immense exploration upside, and we’re committed to unlocking it,” he said. At the time of writing, West Coast Silver remains focused on fast-tracking development in a tier-one mining jurisdiction, positioning Elizabeth Hill as a key silver asset on the ASX.
