Ariana Resources Strengthens Dokwe Gold Project Outlook
Ariana Resources Plc. (ASX: AA2) has released an updated pre-feasibility study for its Dokwe Gold Project in Zimbabwe, showcasing improved project economics and increased production potential. The study outlines a long-life mining operation with total projected gold production exceeding 1 million ounces over the project’s lifespan. Initial operations are expected to focus on open-pit mining, followed by processing of stockpiled material in later years.
The revised study also delivered a notable increase in ore reserves and overall mineral resources, reflecting the project’s expanding scale and future growth prospects. Financial estimates remain attractive, supported by strong projected cash flows, a high internal rate of return, and a relatively short payback period after production starts.
Ariana Resources is continuing drilling, metallurgical testing, and engineering work as it advances toward a definitive feasibility study planned for 2027. The company believes additional exploration and technical improvements could further enhance the project’s value and extend future development opportunities.
