Caprice Resources Expands High-Grade Gold Footprint at Island Project
Caprice Resources Ltd (ASX: CRS) has announced new high-grade gold drilling results from its Island Gold Project in Western Australia, further highlighting the expansion potential of its developing multi-zone gold mineralisation system. Recent drilling identified mineralisation across several zones, including New Orient, Iron Clad, Chicago and parallel structures beyond the main Vadrians trend. Key assay results included 12 metres at 3.0 g/t gold at the parallel structure, 10 metres at 2.6 g/t gold at New Orient, and 5 metres at 3.2 g/t gold at Iron Clad.
The company stated that the latest results support its geological model of structurally controlled mineralisation hosted across multiple BIF and mafic units. Follow-up drilling is underway around the previously announced bonanza-grade intercept of 22 metres at 66.2 g/t gold to assess continuity and orientation. Caprice’s ongoing 50,000-metre drilling campaign is expected to support target expansion and contribute toward a maiden mineral resource estimate at the Island Gold System.
