Beetaloo Energy Moves Closer to Pilot Gas Production
Beetaloo Energy Limited (ASX: BTL) has reported significant progress across its operations in the Beetaloo Basin, with several key projects advancing simultaneously. Work at the Carpentaria Pilot Project has intensified following the wet season, as construction and installation activities continue at the gas processing facility. Pipeline connections linking production wells to the plant are also progressing, supporting the company's objective of commencing pilot production.
The Carpentaria-5H well is scheduled to begin an extended production test in mid-June after final preparation activities are completed. Earlier testing demonstrated encouraging gas flow performance, providing confidence in the well's production capability. In addition, upgraded water-handling infrastructure has been installed to support future operations.
On the exploration front, the company is preparing to begin a large-scale seismic survey in the Western Beetaloo region. The program is designed to enhance resource understanding, identify future drilling locations, and support long-term development plans. Beetaloo Energy also continues to strengthen its operational team as activity levels increase across the basin.
